On October 7-8, Administrator Samantha Power travels to Santo Domingo to advance the United States’ partnership with the people and government of the Dominican Republic. The Administrator will lead U.S. participation in a U.S.-Dominican Republic High-Level Dialogue on Institutional Reform and meet with Dominican President Luis Abinader.

Good afternoon, everyone. It is such a pleasure to be with  President Abinader, and to join you, Chargé Thomas, Mr. Alvarez, and all of the assembled leaders, ministers, and embassy staff here today for an event that truly could not inspire more enthusiasm from the United States of America.
