Generating hope in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. Calling out looming famine in Tigray. Hailing the increase in U.S. COVID vaccine global distributions. Administrator Samantha Power had a packed schedule this month, which included her first international trip as USAID’s chief. Virtual meetings helped elevate the conversation about conditions in Tigray. And, Power heralded the Biden Administration’s plan to distribute more than half a billion COVID-19 vaccines around the world -- including during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
